About the Role

Veeva Systems is seeking a skilled Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team. As a Technical Consultant, you will work closely with regional and/or global service teams to design and build technical solutions that support our business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of technical solutions across multiple platforms via REST API
  • Analyze business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
  • Design and implement cloud-based integration using Vault Java SDK
  • Develop internal and external tools to help our customers and consultants
  • Assist with project implementations wherever technical needs arise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent relevant working experience
  • 5+ years of direct design and programming experience with Java/Spring/REST
  • 3+ years of experience in designing/developing/deploying solutions to AWS Cloud (S3, Lambda, ECS, VPC, and other AWS services)
  • Fluent in written English and good in oral English communications
  • Expertise in relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLServer, Oracle
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks, and expertise in at least one of React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Familiarity with web security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities

  • DevOps related experience, e.g., designing and implementing the CICD strategy, hands-on deployment works
  • Project management experience
  • Work experience with people from different cultures globally
  • Pharma industry knowledge, especially in clinical trials
  • Customer service or consulting experience
