Job Description

**Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly skilled ADAS Driving Feature System Engineer to join our team**

We are expanding our engineering and research activities in the field of Automated Driving, with a focus on delivering world-class ADAS and AD solutions & experiences for the Ford and Lincoln vehicle brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support research and developmental efforts in automated vehicle technologies ranging from Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to semi- and fully autonomous driving capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test ADAS features and systems.
  • Develop and maintain system and function requirement-based System Modelling Language (SysML) models.
  • Work closely with internal & external partners – corporations, universities, and automotive suppliers – to advance ADAS technologies.
  • Conduct vehicle testing on proving ground and public roads to validate ADAS system performance.
Requirements
  • MS/BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in ADAS system engineering, modeling, simulation testing, or algorithm development.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out independent work in a team-based environment.
  • Experience with SysML, Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, and FMEA.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a can-do attitude and willingness to proactively learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on ADAS feature design such as AEB, ACC, TJA, HWA, etc.
  • Experience on SysML-based system engineering tools.
  • Experience on presenting results for internal management and at external venues such as conferences.
  • Experience on working closely and effectively with internal & external partners – corporations, universities, and automotive suppliers.
