About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security and Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and security of our sites across China. This role encompasses responsibility for all aspects of facility management, including a team of dedicated professionals in Shanghai, Beijing, and remote offices such as Qindao, Xian, Nanjing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, and Suzhou warehouse.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of all facility-related activities, encompassing maintenance, operations, and security measures across our diverse locations.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise all maintenance and repair activities, covering a wide range of systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
  • Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of robust security protocols, encompassing access control, surveillance systems, alarm systems, and adherence to safety compliance standards.
  • Manage facility budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficient operations and strict adherence to financial targets for both maintenance and security functions.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs, security vulnerabilities, safety hazards, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for essential services such as cleaning, security personnel, and maintenance support.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of our valuable facility assets.
  • Ensure unwavering compliance with local regulations and safety standards, maintaining all necessary permits, licenses, and security certifications.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, disaster recovery protocols, and effective security incident response strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide essential support for facility-related projects, initiatives, and security assessments.
  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated maintenance and security staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team environment.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of contract suppliers to ensure timely delivery schedules, adherence to quality criteria, and fulfillment of agreed-upon quantities.
  • Conduct regular safety and facilities inspections and effectively manage related internal and external audits.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and meticulously review safety, facility, and administration-related budgets, costs, and contracts. Continuously strive for improvement by implementing innovative solutions to optimize resource allocation and achieve cost savings.
