We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our in-vehicle systems and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of cybersecurity specifications for our in-vehicle systems and mobile applications.
- Perform threat and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct penetration testing to ensure the security of our systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Design and develop new capabilities for our Vehicle Security Operations Center (VSoC) and Application Security Operations Center (ASoC).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in software design, development, and deployment.
- 2+ years of experience in in-vehicle or mobility cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and leading small to medium-scale software development projects.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, Scala, and SQL languages.
- Familiarity with Linux and QNX systems, including SELINUX permission configuration, iptables, and file system management.
- Experience with threat analysis and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of common encryption and decryption algorithms.
- Familiarity with Hardware Security Module (HSM), Secure Hardware Extension (SHE), and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
