Cyber Security Specialist

At Ford Motor Company, we are seeking a highly skilled In-Vehicle Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our mobile app and browser-based products.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and deployment of our Vehicle Security Operations Center (VSoC) and Application Security Operations Center (ASoC) systems.
- Provide technical cybersecurity services, including threat and risk assessment, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cybersecurity specifications and best practices.
- Design and develop new capabilities for VSoC and ASoC.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in software design, development, and deployment.
- 2+ years of experience in in-vehicle or mobility cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in leading small or medium-scale product cybersecurity.
- 2+ years of software development experience in Java, Python, Scala, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Linux and QNX systems, including SELINUX permission configuration and iptables.
- Experience with threat analysis and risk assessment, penetration testing, and cybersecurity specifications.
- Familiarity with encryption and decryption algorithms, and security modules such as Hardware Security Module and Secure Hardware Extension.
