Job Overview

As a Production Supervisor - Curing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the curing process in our production area. You will be responsible for managing the curing process to meet sequencing requirements and maintaining product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Output Management

Support the production section manager in managing the output of the curing area to meet requirements by size and on time.

Help manage stock levels to avoid shortages and overproduction of products.

Ensure machine and material availability, as well as employee competency, to fulfill output requirements.

2. Quality Assurance

Reduce scrap rates from the curing area by defining measures to achieve targets and carrying out corrective actions.

Ensure machine and material suitability, as well as employee competency, to maintain quality standards.

Support the production section manager in addressing complaints from the next process or customer.

3. People Development

Carry out actions to maintain and improve the competency of employees in the curing area.

4. Efficiency and Cost Management

Implement actions to improve productive efficiency in the curing area and contribute to measures to maximize machine utilization and eliminate waste.

Implement cost management and help set up budgets and control measures to achieve plans.

5. 5S/TPM

Implement 5S/TPM activities in the curing area and ensure sustained performance.

Qualifications

Required Education: College degree with a major in chemistry or machinery.

Professional Experience: At least 2-3 years of manufacturing experience.

Project or Process Experience: Experience in a tire plant or quality department is preferred.

Leadership Experience: Team management experience is preferred.

Required Knowledge: Basic knowledge of machinery, tire process, and quality management principles.

Advanced knowledge of ISO and TS standards, quality problem-solving tools, and good English language skills.
