As an Inventory Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving computerized inventory records, reporting on inventory levels and activity, and coordinating expedited orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve computerized inventory records and reporting on inventory levels and activity.
  • Coordinate and report expedited orders, returns, and exchanges of inventory items.
  • Verify order completeness, inspect for damage, and coordinate to fix the root cause.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients.
  • Ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Working Knowledge:
  • Helps create contingency plans to mitigate impact of disruption on core applications.
  • Identifies key players, criticalities, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Investigates application-related issues with both business and IT professionals.
  • Recommends enhancements for a major application system or related subsystems.
Information Capture:
  • Knowledge of the methods, channels, and processes to obtain needed information.
  • Ability to identify, capture, and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable, and easily retrievable manner.
Office Support Tools:
  • Knowledge of commonly used office hardware, software, and equipment.
  • Ability to use the tools available at the desktop (for example: word processing, email, presentation software, and spreadsheets).
Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
  • Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy.
  • Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Data Gathering and Reporting:
  • Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data.
  • Ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Inventory Management - MFG:
  • Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management.
  • Ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Materials Handling and Management:
  • Knowledge of material handling and management in plants.
  • Ability to perform, monitor, and improve processes related to storage, transportation, and handling of raw and hazardous materials.
Supply Chain Management - MFG:
  • Knowledge of functions, principles, and techniques used in supply chain management.
  • Ability to develop and use strategies, practices, and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
