Caterpillar is seeking an experienced Inventory Records Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving computerized inventory records, tracking inventory levels and activity, and ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve computerized inventory records and reporting on inventory levels and activity.
- Coordinate and report expedited orders, returns, and exchanges of inventory items.
- Verify order completeness, inspect for damage, and coordinate to fix the root cause.
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience desired.
- Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients.
- Ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory management and control.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
