About the Role

The position is the authority in one or more business/application areas, providing architecture-level solutions, cross-applications/functions analysis, and design in application projects. The role also takes Senior Specialist's work as projects need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, existing and new business models, and provide solutions by fine-tuning existing sub-systems or functional areas of the systems and procedures.
  • Design systems and work aligned with security, compliance, and design principles, focusing on quality, evaluating, and conducting cost-effective solutions.
  • Translate business requirements (BRD)/function specification (FS) to technical design requirements, including test strategy and quality assurance approach.
  • Prepare test cases/scenarios, conduct system testing, and implement schedules.
  • Analyze and solve technical problems aligned with applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Assist users in fully utilizing the systems by providing training and clarification of problems.
  • Train junior staff on business and technical knowledge.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Be professional in IT or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of IT working experience, at least 5 years of system assessments.
  • Proficient in IT application development on at least one platform: Cloud platforms, Linux/Windows/Unix platforms, database platform, Web/mobile applications.
  • 3 years of experience in team management (3-5 staff).
  • Good command of English both in oral and written.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skill.
  • Strong insurance business background.
  • Collaboration spirit, stable, mature, willing to take ownership.
