Job Title: Project System Engineer - Infotainment Lead

Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Project System Engineer to lead the Infotainment project system design review and be responsible for design requirement qualified deliver and manage testing results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Infotainment project system design review and ensure design requirements are met.
  • Manage testing results and ensure qualified deliverables.
  • Drive technical concept and agree on schedule, estimation, and risks with suppliers.
  • Act as the project system leader for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Technical leader of the RSU requirement management and validation status.
  • Support design for manufacturing workshop to ensure manufacturing input at an early stage of development.
  • Manage product-related technical risks and problems and implement countermeasures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or above degree in electrical/electronic, computer science, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience at OEMs or tier one suppliers of Infotainment product development.
  • Deep understanding of Infotainment unit features and requirements management.
  • Excellent project management skills and conflict management skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of technology used in in-vehicle Infotainment systems.
  • Advanced knowledge in Risk management, R&D process, methods & tools, Test qualification, and verification strategies.
  • Self-responsibility, team player with very good communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel inside China and overseas to prepare and support launches at JV/suppliers.
  • Fluent English.
  • German is a plus.
