Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Manager to lead our team of systems and applications engineers in providing strategic customer support, developing demonstration platforms, and creating written collateral to solve customer system problems for our Allegro sensors and power IC product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide systems and application engineering support to customers, working closely with sales and field applications engineers.
- Collaborate with applications engineers and marketing to develop collateral outlining the value proposition and use of our products in customer applications.
- Perform teardowns of customer products to gain a deeper understanding of customer application requirements and develop system-level knowledge.
- Design and build hardware and software reference designs and demos to help customers speed up their development time and effort.
- Engage with lead customers to identify system-level requirements, formulate partnership strategies, and drive deeper technical engagements.
- Champion the generation of technical notes, application notes, tools, and simulations to make customer evaluation and development with our products easy and simple.
- Interact with and provide guidance to product marketing and technical teams to create differentiated products and solutions for target markets.
- Focus on timely customer support for superior customer experience and outcome.
- Assist with special projects, corporate events, tradeshows, webinars, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Familiarity with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and voltage and current meters.
- Ability to design and build basic hardware such as printed circuit boards, data acquisition systems, custom cables, and hand-soldered application boards.
- Programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Experience developing partner networks and/or development communities.
- Ability to travel to visit customers within China.
