We're seeking an experienced Senior Design Program Manager to join our Product Design Operations team. This role reports to the Design Operations Manager and is critical to ensuring our design teams successfully deliver on our commitments throughout the product development process. As a member of Product Design, you will work closely with Industrial Designers, User Experience Designers, CMF Designers, User Research, User Documentation and Visual/Motion Designers, In-store Display Designers, and the design team in our international offices.

Strong communication skills and understanding different product development models (Bose or Vendor-led product creation) are critical. Relationship building, creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, and identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks are essential. Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing creative and development requirements enables the design teams to focus on and drive the most important work forward.

Opportunity

Manage color variant and product accessories programs with a high emphasis on engagements with internal high-performing design teams through the design lifecycle.

Serve as liaison and central point of contact for design with cross-functional teams, focused on building credibility, promoting transparency, and managing expectations.

Partner with BOC design team and engineering program department to align design priorities and interdependencies against development schedules and corresponding prototype build and/or release dates.

Facilitate Design Milestones and internal reviews and manage status updates focused on Design's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative deliverables and remove roadblocks that can impact budget and deadlines for the design team.

Partners closely with Bose China Office ID and CMF designers (and studio head) to ensure timelines and deliverables are met

Direct report to Bose, Manager of Design Operations and Planning, in the Framingham location. Executes Global Design Operations processes, methodologies and collaborates with the US Design Operations team

Skills:

BS/BA degree in a related field (industrial or user experience design, project management, business, product development)

production experience (experience with a large global brand in a product design organization is a plus)

Understanding of the product development/product process and touchpoints with Product Design is highly desirable.

Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.

Excellent at multi-tasking and switching between planning and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable communicating with stakeholders in other departments of the company
