Position: Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison - Endocrinology

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Senior Manager-MSL Expert possesses extensive knowledge of the therapeutic area and is adept at engaging top-tier thought leaders through high-quality, customer-focused scientific communication.
  • This role contributes significantly to the launch of new products or indications, particularly in thought leader mapping and engagement strategy development. The MSL Lead plays a pivotal role in formulating the annual MSL plan as outlined in the integrated country medical affairs strategy.
  • Responsible for planning and monitoring individual thought leader engagement activities, synthesizing insights, and proposing enhancements to MSL operational processes.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the Medical team and medical societies, leveraging internal resources to establish and maintain trustworthy scientific relationships.
  • The Senior Manager-MSL Expert contributes to communications with global functions and provides substantial professional input to market access and medical initiatives.
  • As a seasoned medical professional, the Senior Manager-MSL Expert serves as the medical team's representative in the field, offering insights, expertise, and solutions to challenges.
  • Strong relationships with thought leaders are cultivated and maintained through MSL expertise in the therapeutic area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or higher in clinical medicine, pharmacology, or a related field; MD or PhD preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area.
  • Understanding of clinical trial design and rationale.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
  • Capability to foster productive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and driving results.
  • Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Experience in organizing and executing academic events.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Fluency in English for literature review.
  • Proficient in computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
