Job Title: Medical Science Liaison - Autoimmune Therapies

We're seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Lilly. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in facilitating scientific exchange between industry and the scientific community, shaping the future of healthcare by providing needed information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge in the field of autoimmune therapies.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in autoimmune medicine.
  • Excel at customer engagement and support the medical and scientific information needs of scientific experts.
  • Strategic vision and leadership: synthesize complex data and communicate meaningful clinical insights to Lilly medical and cross-functional teams.
  • Territory ownership: demonstrate strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience desired.
  • Field-based position requires ability to travel up to 80% and work up to 4 to 6 weekends a year.
  • Applicants must live in close proximity to a transport hub (airport/train station).
  • Intellectual curiosity about the field of science/medicine for which they are responsible.
  • Learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content in a clear and concise fashion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in servicing customer needs for complex information.
  • Significant experience in professional networking with mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in field-based working environment highly valued.
