Facility Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

The Facility Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of factory infrastructure equipment, including electrical equipment, water and gas pipelines, and air conditioning and liquid nitrogen equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair factory infrastructure equipment, including electrical equipment, water and gas pipelines, and air conditioning and liquid nitrogen equipment.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install new equipment and replace old or damaged components as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical degree preferred.
  • Specialized training or certification in electrical systems, plumbing, or HVAC repair.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electrical systems, including circuit breaker panels and electrical distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, including piping and fixtures.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units.
  • Certification in electrical safety, such as OSHA 30-hour.
