Job Description

NielsenIQ is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for performing daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations for our markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors in accordance with company policies and SOX controls.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and identify any errors or discrepancies.
  • Prepare payment proposals and conduct weekly payment runs to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Research and resolve any outstanding balances on accounts, including communications with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing responses to periodic requests for information from NielsenIQ Corporate and external auditors.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of accounts payable transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of accounts payable and payment-related activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP AP module.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts under GAAP and IFRS/Local GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
