Job Overview:

The Satair Quality team is seeking a dedicated Operational Quality Manager for our Beijing facility. In this pivotal role, you will significantly influence the effectiveness of local quality operations, ensuring timely and quality resolution of customer and supplier claims, certification of parts, adherence to audit schedules, and enhancement of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that products and services from China align with both external and internal standards, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
  • Oversee the quality management system, generating data and reports on performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with managers and staff across the organization to ensure the quality system operates effectively.
  • Implement Lean principles and foster a Lean mindset within the team.

Main Duties:

  • Act as the local liaison to the Hua-Ou and Airbus Customer Service departments, ensuring that Satair Quality tasks are executed efficiently.
  • Serve as the CAMAC Responsible Quality Manager for the Beijing operations.
  • Ensure the Satair quality system is implemented and maintained in accordance with EN 9120 standards, subject to regular audits and reviews.
  • Participate in essential meetings, planning sessions, and audits.
  • Promote quality achievement and drive performance improvements across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop quality procedures in collaboration with other departments.
  • Maintain and control all quality-related documentation.
  • Analyze performance data against established benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure corrective actions are executed and customer specifications are met.
  • Implement controls for outgoing shipments.
  • Report to management on quality levels achieved and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage supplier and customer claims effectively.
  • Oversee both internal and external audit processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with procurement to establish quality requirements for external suppliers.
  • Work with management to set quality goals for both new and existing products.
  • Partner with HR to identify and deliver quality-related training needs.
  • Perform any other quality-related tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CCAR-145 MRO, including maintenance, engineering, quality, or material management, with a corresponding official work experience certificate or CCAR-66R3 maintenance license.
  • Strong awareness of quality and safety standards.
  • Experience in quality management is advantageous.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace market is a plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
