Procurement Specialist Lead

About the Opportunity
Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing materials, services, and processing to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on daily sourcing requests for materials, services, and processing, including raw materials, indirect materials, and services, as well as subcontracting categories.
- Conduct price benchmarking and negotiate prices with suppliers.
- Set up material items and input system data.
- Create, evaluate, and manage suppliers, visiting them as required.
- Manage contracts and monitor and control material inventory.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of internal documents and maintain databases.
- Initiate timelines and measure project goals.
- Save projects and follow up.
- Report to supervisors/ managers on daily issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a large or mature procurement organization.
- Good English skills, both verbal and written.
- PC skills, including Microsoft software, Excel (vlookup, basic calculation formulas, pivot table), and Google workspace.
- Experience with Oracle.
- Able to perform overtime work occasionally.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, problem-solving, and continuous improvement approach.
- Positive, responsible, and strong in coordination and execution.
- Strong data collection and analysis ability.
- Strong personal integrity and good team spirit.
