Job Title: Business Excellence Manager

Roche is seeking a highly skilled Business Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Operations Lean team, you will be responsible for driving business excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a holistic Business Excellence framework to organize cross-site activities related to Operational Excellence, Lean, and BPM initiatives.
  • Establish a well-defined structure, core elements, and evaluation criteria for the framework.
  • Assess site business excellence status, identify gaps, and develop an excellence roadmap.
  • Initiate and manage projects/initiatives along the roadmap using Agile/Lean/BPM methodology and tools.
  • Leverage global mindsets, knowledge, and resources to drive local implementation and contribute to the Global Operations network.
  • Manage Site Project Portfolio and Continuous Improvement (CI) Portfolio with standardized processes.
  • Promote Global CI Platform in site to consolidate site CI idea management.
  • Establish a standard process to manage Site Project Portfolio and CI projects.
  • Provide coordination, facilitation, or consultation to functional or cross-functional teams to ensure successful CI project delivery.
  • Build up CI community and cultivate CI mindsets at site.
  • Lead Site CI squad team to drive site continuous improvement and improvement-based innovation.
  • Organize Annual CI camp or similar program/events to enhance CI mindset, methodology, and capability of employees.
  • Utilize site culture programs/events/platforms to recognize excellence ideas and projects.
  • Leverage internal and external resources to deliver necessary training/workshops/consultation to enhance knowledge and capability of people.
  • Set up Operations Performance monitoring and evaluation process with digital solutions.
  • Monitor and lead the review of key performance indicators; initiate projects to improve performance continuously.
