The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank committed to promoting sustainable and inclusive growth in Asia. As a Principal Investment Officer in the Project and Corporate Finance Clients Department, Global, you will play a crucial role in expanding AIIB's client relationships among private sector clients and sponsors in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead one or more of the department's business lines in meeting target goals and origination of investment projects
  • Identify, assess, and structure investment opportunities and maintain a strong project pipeline for relevant sectors and geographies
  • Conduct research on projects and clients, arrange and prepare for client meetings, and support internal coordination through information exchanges and teamwork with relevant Bank units
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure finance gained in a top-tier commercial, investment, or multilateral development bank
  • Extensive experience in structuring comprehensive financing solutions across products using debt, mezzanine, guarantees, etc.
  • Strong analytical, credit, and financial modeling skills, as well as proficiency in global project finance markets, preferably with experience in developing countries
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English, with knowledge of a language(s) of a country in which AIIB invests being an advantage
  • Masters degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or Economics or related fields
