As a Casualty Senior Underwriter, you'll play a vital role in shaping our company's future by delivering exceptional underwriting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review new application/renewal requests, evaluate risks, and underwrite proper pricing and terms within authority.
  • Prepare and present quotations to producers, work with producing channels to achieve production goals, and maintain business progress reports.
  • Check policies and endorsements, complete underwriting filing documents in due course.
  • Monitor loss ratio for responsible portfolios and implement necessary improvement measures.
  • Provide technical support and advice to producing channels, including recommendations on appropriate coverage for risks submitted and assistance in resolving complex problems.
  • Meet with clients and brokers to promote Casualty products, interact, and negotiate with clients directly when needed.
  • Provide technical advice to Claims regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings, etc.
  • Ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by managers.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree or above with successful proven experience in casualty underwriting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and result-oriented.
  • Good command of English in writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Commitment to becoming an insurance professional.
