Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a skilled Materials Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Materials Planning Team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through our production cycle.

You will determine the quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis.

The successful candidate will develop specifications for new contract orders, forecasts, and plans for labor requirements. You will also provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and participate in higher-level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team.

Additionally, you will monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to ensure best quality at best value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement materials planning strategies to meet production schedules
  2. Initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements
  3. Develop schedules for production facilities based on forecasts and historical analysis
  4. Monitor supplier performance and provide timely and accurate input
  5. Participate in higher-level supplier performance reviews
  6. Monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts
