Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operator to join our team at Eastman Chemical Company. As an Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, including packaging and loading finished products, operating forklifts, and unloading and unpacking raw materials.

Responsibilities
  • Materials Handling: Work under the general supervision of a team manager/coach to package and load finished product onto tank cars and trucks for shipment to customers.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials and products around the facility.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials and products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing routine housekeeping and safety inspections.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Chemical Process Operations (CPO) certificate from NE State preferred.
  • Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Assessments: Must have achieved Eastman's required levels on the WorkKeys assessments, including Reading for Information/Workplace Documents, Locating Information/Graphic Literacy, and Applied Mathematics.
