Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our safety and regulatory affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our cosmetic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the safety of raw materials and cosmetic formulations, and assess the safety of finished cosmetic products.
  • Support product developers, formulators, toxicologists, and other experts in the development of new ingredients, formulations, and products.
  • Apply new approach methodologies for hazard identification and safety assessment, and plan studies and provide guidance on safety communications.
  • Participate in trade association activities in areas of toxicology and risk assessment for regulatory submissions and product defense.
Requirements
  • Diploma, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in natural science (biology, chemistry, etc.), dermatology, medicine, pharmacology, or toxicology.
  • ERT, DABT, DGK, or other certification for toxicology or product safety assessment is desired but not a must-have.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills are required for internal and external collaborations.
  • An open, global mindset characterized by positivity, flexibility, and adaptability with agile thinking is essential.
  • The ability to cope with stress and dynamic changes of the business environment is crucial.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
