We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant focused on our Data Security portfolio for the China market. The candidate will advise and lead the deployment of our market-leading data security suite in customer environments.

Job Description

This role provides a rare opportunity for the candidate to bolster their technical skills on market-leading security products, while gaining project leadership experience working with clients ranging from large MNCs to cutting-edge start-ups.

  • Schedule projects in a structured and engaging fashion and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with customers and internal teams to establish trusted advisor status.
  • Work to define data security target architecture and project delivery plans in alignment with customer technical requirements and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of common databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and cloud databases (AWS Aurora, Azure SQL). They should also be familiar with cloud platforms such as Alicloud, Tencent, AWS, Azure, and VMware ESX.

In this role, you will work closely with Imperva Professional Services leadership to properly support, upskill, and enable you to become proficient in all aspects of the role.

Key Performance Indicators

KPIs include:

  • Delivery of assigned projects in terms of project outcomes, project deliverables, timelines, and budget.
  • Customer Experience indicators, including CSAT and NPS.
  • Enablement and mentorship of peers and juniors.
  • Self-development and technical certification.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • 3-5 years' hands-on experience working on security technologies in a data security context.
  • Scripting and automation experience using tools such as Terraform, Bash, Python.
  • Familiarity with security technologies from Imperva, IBM, McAfee, or similar.
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal) and conversational English (written and verbal).
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000.
