Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead our projects and teams in delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project execution plans, including critical success factors and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure quality, health and safety, compliance, change, risk, and environment controls are in place.
  • Establish and maintain effective project reporting, governance, processes, and systems.
  • Prepare project schedules in Microsoft Project and/or P6, including setting baselines, analyzing dependencies, and tracking progress.
  • Lead project teams, including end-user stakeholders, design consultants, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage the design team to develop project documentation aligned with the initial project brief and client requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including RFP/tender requirements, proposal evaluation, and appointment recommendations.
  • Monitor and advise on project finances, coordinate cost reports, and understand cost drivers and variations.
  • Ensure effective information flow between clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers through regular meetings and reports.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure safe work practices, monitor progress, and assure quality of works.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers at all project stages.
  • Manage and coordinate permitting and statutory matters, submissions, and approvals.
  • Develop long-term business relationships with clients and the construction industry based on integrity, trust, and delivering great outcomes.
  • Ensure lessons learned, benchmark data, and knowledge sharing are generated from each project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, with Registered Architect a plus.
  • Professional accreditations and associations, such as PMP.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction and project management, with design management experience on major life science/pharma projects a must.
  • Experience working with international clients and representing them.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Track record of working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and collaborating as part of a team.
  • Competency in Microsoft suite of software, including Project, Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
