About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Information Security Governance to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance of our information security practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise IT Governance:

  • Review and ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice on governance and risk management to stakeholders.

Information Governance:

  • Develop and implement information management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective controls are in place for information management and records.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with information management.
  • Provide regular reports on information management controls to inform decision-making.

Information Security:

  • Develop and implement security strategies to manage identified risks.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Investigate security incidents and recommend control improvements.

Information Assurance:

  • Interpret information assurance policies and apply them to manage risks.
  • Provide expert advice on information assurance architectures and strategies.
  • Conduct testing to support information assurance.

Business Risk Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments within defined functional or technical areas.
  • Use consistent processes to identify and quantify risks.
  • Coordinate the development of countermeasures and contingency plans.

Continuity Management:

  • Implement and contribute to the development of a continuity management plan.
  • Coordinate the assessment of risks to business continuity.
  • Coordinate the planning, designing, and testing of maintenance procedures and contingency plans.

Quality Assurance:

  • Contribute to the collection of evidence and conduct formal audits or reviews.
  • Examine records for evidence of compliance with organizational directives.
  • Identify non-compliances and abnormal occurrences.

Conformance Review:

  • Conduct formal reviews of activities, processes, products, or services.
  • Collect and examine records to identify conformance with management directives.
  • Provide reports on conformance found in reviewed areas.

Relationship Management:

  • Implement stakeholder engagement and communications plans.
  • Manage problems and issues, and develop corrective actions.
  • Collect and use feedback from customers and stakeholders to measure effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT.
  • 5 years of experience in a relevant area.
  • 2 years of experience in team management.
  • Strong understanding of regional and global market landscapes.
  • Managed critical elements and cross-functional projects.
