Position Overview
The role involves overseeing project management activities, ensuring the successful execution of automation projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing project specifications and quotations to gather essential project information.
- Establishing project teams and timelines, initiating projects with team members.
- Monitoring project quality, costs, and schedules, while ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Communicating project status updates to the management team.
- Coordinating project activities, including customer kick-offs and design reviews.
- Preparing quotations for customers in response to design modifications.
- Making informed decisions regarding customer requirements.
- Finalizing project documentation and fulfilling additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, or Business Administration.
- Over 5 years of relevant project management experience in non-standard sectors.
- Extensive experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or mechanical design.
- Proficient in planning assembly and testing lines, with experience in managing assembly line development.
- Strong understanding of non-standard automation lines and manufacturing engineering principles.
- Knowledgeable in PPAP, APQP, MSA, and FMEA methodologies.
- Solid project management skills with a keen focus on quality control, scheduling, and cost management.
- Familiarity with Bill of Process documentation.
- Effective communication and leadership skills within project teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of project cost structures.
