Senior Automation Project Lead

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced project lead with a strong background in automation engineering and project management to oversee the delivery of complex automation projects in China. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation technologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects in China, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results;
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet business objectives;
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement automation solutions that meet customer requirements;
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer within the team;
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary;
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget;
- Strong understanding of automation technologies, including PLC programming, motor control, and HMI development;
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams;
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
