Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We're seeking a highly motivated Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team at Siemens Financial Services in China. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for analyzing and managing credit risk associated with our equipment finance business. Your expertise will help us make informed lending decisions and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform daily transaction risk analysis and collaborate with Sales Sector Heads to manage new transaction deal pipelines.
  • Conduct credit rating analysis and provide credit rating proposals.
  • Prepare credit reports for authority holders to inform lending decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth industry research and propose solutions to address related risks.
  • Assist in establishing risk management policies and guidelines, analyzing overdue/rescheduling customers, and performing ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • If an authority holder, exercise lending or rating authority responsibly with prudent judgment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • At least 3 years of Credit or Risk Management experience, preferably in a financial institution, with exposure to equipment finance.
  • Experience in research/consulting companies and multinational companies will also be considered.
  • Advanced knowledge in finance, accounting, and risk analysis is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Good MS Office and ERP skills.
  • Growth mindset, faster learner, and basic analyzing and problem-solving skills. Leadership and management skills are preferred.
  • Digitalization technology/PROCESS AUTOMATION SOLUTION awareness is highly appreciated.
  • Analytic expertise/advanced analytics skills and complex model interpretation are must-haves.
