Senior Engineering Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in China. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activities related to high-speed connectors and cable assemblies in the Chinese market.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage resources to ensure multiple products and designs are adequately staffed.
- Effectively communicate roles, responsibilities, expectations, and goals to direct reports, business unit, and division.
- Mentor engineers by providing guidance or training resources on proper design selection and analysis techniques.
- Lead a regional team of connector and cable assembly product engineers through the development process, identifying requirements, designing, assessing, and mitigating risk.
- Oversee and manage standard product offering requests from customers, leveraging engineering metadata to communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ensure effective collaboration of the engineering team with cross-functional team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience of mechanical or electromechanical products.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Native level or at least Business Level of Chinese communication.
- Fluent English (ability to read, write, and lead technical discussions).
