About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Manager to join our team in Shanghai. As a key member of our China Global Selling Team, you will be responsible for providing support to sales and business operations, with a focus on data processing and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, audit, and compliance, with experience working on projects related to data access, risk management, and reporting. You will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanisms to protect Amazon internal data, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with employee behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data access tenets to protect Amazon internal data
  • Deep dive into Amazon data infrastructure to implement data access tenets
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in Amazon tool remediation
  • Understand end-to-end business processes and identify potential risks associated with employee behavior
About the Team

The Risk & Control Management (RCM) team is responsible for raising the bar and driving consistent SOPs in terms of access control and management across AGS. We target to be the gatekeeper of key operational risk and the owner of risk and control metrics by working closely with CN AGS stakeholders and global teams.

We identify, develop, implement, and sustain Risk & Controls metrics in the following areas:

  • Access Control: Sensitive access to key business systems and data is properly controlled, reviewed, and monitored
  • Application Control: Key application level controls are identified and properly enforced in a preventative way
  • Investigation: Violations to compliance rules are identified and investigated, and RCM drives root cause analysis and mitigation controls
  • Monitoring: RCM team proactively runs pre-designed reports to identify potential violations and findings are communicated and reported
  • Collaboration: RCM team collaborates with global teams to implement designed access controls and application controls
Requirements
  • 8+ years of compliance, audit, or risk management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements
