The World Economic Forum is dedicated to enhancing the state of the world through Public-Private Cooperation.
The Forum collaborates with leading political, business, and societal figures to influence global, regional, and industry agendas.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams at the World Economic Forum's Beijing Office to assist in the preparations for significant events.
Internship Duration
This internship spans from early April to mid-July, requiring your presence 4-5 days a week at the Forum office in Beijing.
Requirements
This internship is intended for candidates currently enrolled in a college or university program (undergraduate or postgraduate), typically during their penultimate year of study. While your field of study is not a primary concern, we seek candidates with a strong academic record, a proactive mindset, and a passion for making a difference.
What You Will Gain
Throughout your internship, you will have the unique opportunity to:
Acquire valuable insights into innovative solutions addressing global challenges. Engage in hands-on experience by collaborating with experts and participating in real projects. Establish meaningful professional connections and expand your career network.The intern will be part of the office for a three-month period during the spring. You will work four to five days a week and receive a monthly stipend.
China Central Support Team
The China Central Support team is committed to delivering high-quality promotional materials and comprehensive communication resources. This team is responsible for creating promotional content, developing communication strategies for major events, providing content support, managing event registrations, optimizing digital platforms, and offering training on essential digital tools.
Your Responsibilities:
1) Digital Success Support Intern
Offer daily assistance to internal and external users on key digital platforms. Aid in database management and enhancements, integrating new processes. Relay support issues, user feedback, and suggestions for improving digital products. Execute change management activities in line with the evolution of digital products and business processes.2) Participant Services & Business Service Support Intern
Facilitate participant relations with engagement managers, assisting in the invitation and registration processes. Generate event registration reports for monitoring and analysis. Provide operational and logistical support through various communication channels. Communicate with participants to offer services both online and onsite. Ensure data quality and cleanliness within the CRM system. Support reporting for internal use.3) Visa Support Intern
Collaborate with government officials to issue visa letters for international participants. Generate visa letters from the Forum to facilitate foreign participants' travel. Address inquiries regarding visa letters from both government officials and the Forum. Oversee the visa letter issuance process to ensure operational efficiency.Why Join the Forum:
