Global Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of high-quality infrastructure investments in developing countries.
Responsibilities- Develop innovative ideas for knowledge sharing and capacity building initiatives on climate-smart connectivity infrastructure, project preparation and management, sustainable transport, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, procurement, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and anti-corruption and integrity.
- Organize, moderate, supervise, and quality assure the implementation of workshops and training programs on these focus areas, as well as generate knowledge products from such activities.
- Lead on engaging with partner International Financing Institutions (IFIs), developing country governments, developing country financiers, and other infrastructure actors on the focus workstreams, establishing AIIB as a valuable partner.
- Evaluate progress and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience working on high-quality infrastructure investments in developing countries, with some experience in at least two of the following priority topics: climate-smart connectivity infrastructure, project preparation and management, sustainable transport, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, procurement, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and anti-corruption and integrity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Practical experience in planning and organizing knowledge events and training programs, with ability to take initiative to put a plan into action.
- Able to multitask and possess a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
- Master's degree or equivalent in economics/finance, infrastructure, social development, climate and environment, governance, or other related fields from a reputable university.
- A competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
