Business Development Associate

GLG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to support our professional service firm clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our business model and developing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide project support to our client-facing team, who manage multiple projects on a day-to-day basis.
- Facilitating Educational Interactions: Facilitate educational interactions between GLG Network Members and our clients, enabling them to make more informed and confident investment decisions.
- Client Relationship Development: Work towards growing GLG client relationships, primarily with leading investment professionals in China, through in-person client meetings, project execution, and day-to-day interactions.
- Event Programming: Organize and host small group live conversations with leading experts to share insights on industry trends and hot topics.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Business Development team, Council Development team, Project Support team, and other research professionals to deliver quality and thoughtful services to clients.
- Interest in the financial industry
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in written English
- 1-3 years of work experience in client-facing, account management, or analyst roles in relevant industries
- Demonstrated performance and business judgment
- Successful track record working in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively
