Expert Quality Assurance Specialist for Renewable Energy Projects

Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and standards, such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
- Implement preventive quality methods to minimize risks and improve supplier performance.
- Design, maintain, and improve quality requirements, specifications, and concepts based on supplier categorization.
- Qualify and approve suppliers, in cooperation with purchasing and technology.
- Coordinate product/process qualifications and approvals based on specific requirements/specification (Ready to order).
- Create and negotiate Quality Assurance agreements, and monitor implementation in supplier processes.
- Plan and execute Supplier Audits, including follow-up of audit measures.
- Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement, and collaborate in supplier development programs.
- Implement complaints management to detect and analyze non-conformances and communicate with suppliers.
- Support standardized supplier qualification process according to corporate guidelines (Ready for business).
- Drive the qualification and re-qualification of new and current suppliers, in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy internal procedures.
- Perform supplier Product and Process qualification through PPAP (APQP4Wind) approach.
- Ensure that the product and process quality of suppliers is compliant with Siemens Gamesa Renewables' requirements.
- Investigate, analyze, and correct quality discrepancies in relation to products and quality at supplier, including Non-Conformances handling (NCR) and 8D and similar problem-solving methods.
- Initiate and implement strategies to enable the development of suppliers, improving their competences and overall quality performance.
- Participate in interdisciplinary and cross-functional workgroups as Supplier Quality Assurance representative.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) or an equivalent professional background.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience within supplier quality from an international company.
- Previous quality-related experience with Electrical industrial components: generators, motors, segmented stators.
- Good knowledge of the segment or generator/motor manufacturing processes and understand drawings, specifications, routine test EN/ISO standards, including welding and NDT standards.
- Raw materials, silicon steel, EN 10106:2007 Cold rolled non-oriented electrical steel sheet.
- Welding qualification WPQR, WPS, NDT inspection and standards ISO 14555, ISO 15609-1, ISO15607.
- Insulation standard IEC 60085, IEC 60243, IEC 60664-1.
- Routine tests: winding and insulation resistance, lightning impulse, high voltage, partial discharge.
- Product and Process auditing experience is necessary. Candidates with sound PPAP knowledge will be preferred, including Measuring System Analysis and FMEA.
- Auditing experience with ISO 9001 or similar is preferable, and candidates with a Lead Auditor examination will be preferred.
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, and VDA 6.3 is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and capable of interfacing with numerous parties at all levels in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent English (both orally and written) and IT skills, including SAP, MS office applications, etc.
