As a key contributor to the clinical supplies operations, the Logistics Associate II plays a vital role in managing administrative tasks throughout the clinical supplies lifecycle for studies of low to moderate complexity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and executes logistics and administrative tasks to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Assists in the daily management of study medications, comparators, and ancillary supplies.
  • Ensures adherence to company best practices and client specifications in all operational activities.
  • Engages in continuous education regarding new regulations related to clinical supplies and GxP practices.
  • Contributes to departmental project teams and may act as a liaison across various functions.
  • Supervises the receipt, ordering, storage, labeling, inventory management, distribution, return accountability, and destruction of drug products and medical devices.
  • Verifies that all activities performed by PPD Depots align with company SOPs and client requirements.
  • Monitors inventory levels and expiration dates of all department drug products and medical devices, providing monthly status updates.
  • Coordinates the procurement of additional supplies as needed.
  • Participates in ongoing training regarding GMP regulations.
  • Maintains updated PPD-owned metrics indicators reports.
  • Ensures accurate data entry in electronic management systems for assigned studies.

Qualifications:

A post-secondary diploma or equivalent with relevant academic or vocational training, coupled with a minimum of two years of applicable experience.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in English with strong reading and writing communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Clinical Supply process, including manufacturing, handling, importing, shipping, exporting, auditing, labeling, and packaging.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to address diverse and confidential issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Customer-focused with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Adaptable to change and capable of managing high-pressure situations.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently with moderate supervision.
  • Effective in utilizing appropriate communication channels to express concerns and suggestions.
