About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategist to join our Immunology Business team at AbbVie. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial operations, demand planning, and brand management, to drive business outcomes and optimize financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including affiliate finance directors, business unit directors, and brand teams, to ensure effective communication and alignment on financial strategies and plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data quality to drive business excellence.
  • Special Projects: Lead or contribute to special projects, such as budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, to support business growth and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, including macro development, data analysis, and financial modeling. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
