We are seeking a dedicated Customs Expert to join our Product Line Chassis Systems within the Division Car Chassis Technology. This role is pivotal in ensuring our operations adhere to customs regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to all AP-locations concerning various customs matters.
- Oversee and enhance legally compliant customs procedures, particularly in customs preferences utilizing the MIC tool.
- Manage internal workflows and external partners to ensure AEO-F compliance.
- Assist in logistics cost evaluations and calculations.
- Conduct audits and evaluations of processes related to air cargo security.
- Analyze freight and logistics cost accounting to ensure accurate billing in European locations, while advancing the freight accounting system.
- Plan and support the rollout of Assist freight.
- Facilitate internal training related to the aforementioned topics.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with a focus on logistics.
- Significant professional experience in logistics and customs is essential.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP modules including MM, PP, SD, Warehouse Management, and Atlas.
- Experience in executing logistics projects within the automotive sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A methodical, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Proficient in English, with additional languages being a plus.
- International experience and a strong willingness to travel.
