Corning is a leading technology company that invents life-changing products using materials science. We're seeking a skilled Plugging Process Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide engineering expertise for Plugging and APT processes.
- Support day-to-day production and implement rigorous discipline for process control.
- Plan, organize, and execute major projects to deliver improvement and step-change capabilities.
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles and methods to reduce defects and upsets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering (ceramic, materials, or chemical preferred).
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in the automotive industry or related fields.
- Experience working in multinational companies is strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong command of English in both oral and written communication.
- Technical proficiency in process engineering.
- Strong data analytical and visualization skills (JMP/Minitab).
- Data-driven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
