Job Title: Category Director - BU Outdoor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Director to lead our BU Outdoor category team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category plans that align with our business objectives and meet customer needs.
  • Lead a team of category managers to ensure effective execution of category strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform category strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in category management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the outdoor industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of category management principles and practices.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
