Primary Objective of the Role
Serve as the key representative and facilitator of the Product Superiority initiative across the Consumer product range within the specified area of the Asia-Pacific region. Ensure effective execution of corporate and marketing objectives within the assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align with regional product strategy to drive planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer needs, defining a data-driven product vision, and collaborating closely with project leaders, engineering, sales, marketing, and regional teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction targets.
• Establish Customer Value Proposition and Go-To-Market strategies for both new and existing products to achieve competitive advantages and Product Superiority in targeted countries, sales channels, and demographics.

• Support and oversee market alignment for product initiatives and priorities in AP clusters in relation to regional objectives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Review and Country Portfolio Management
Lead and collaborate with country product management teams regularly:

• Critically evaluate local product strategies and their alignment with regional goals and metrics.

• Define and synchronize Country Product Portfolios, enabling the Product Superiority concept locally while eliminating inefficiencies through simplification efforts.

• Support and implement new products' Customer Value Proposition and GTM in accordance with regional guidelines.

• Gather market insights and identify future product requests for the designated area.

• Monitor the realization and achievement of targets for executed activities.

• Address any regional requests requiring timely and quality support from the country level.

New Product Launch and Customer Value Proposition:
Translate strategy into the successful launch of new products in the markets for the designated area of responsibility:

• Define new product concepts based on robust, data-driven insights: Product Claims, Performance requirements, Coverage, Competitive benchmarks, Business case preparation, and Market insights.
• Deployment of Value Proposition and Product Superiority: Define the added value of new products for the company, customers, and end-users. Collaborate closely with local and regional functions.

• Organize and execute launch plans in designated markets alongside local product teams, adhering to regional guidelines.

Contribution to Corporate Cycles and Long-term Product Planning:
Assist the Product Director in preparing and consolidating function inputs for corporate reports and activities:

• Develop a 5-Year Product Roadmap: Utilize a data-driven approach based on market intelligence and product knowledge to identify key areas for long-term growth and potential opportunities.
• Rationalization and Complexity: Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure optimized and efficient portfolio deployment in the market.

• Participate in the Product Creation Process (PCP) and contribute to other corporate forums to present and elaborate on product-related activities for new launches, existing product portfolios, and other ad-hoc tasks.

• Engage in special projects initiated by the regional office and Product Director for the designated area of responsibility.

Operational Excellence and Data-Driven Approach:
• Conduct continuous market and competitive analysis for the designated area of responsibility, collaborating with other regional functions and local product teams to achieve corporate targets.

• Manage and structure data knowledge for the designated area and explore methods to optimize and streamline it.

• Collaborate with other Category Managers to consolidate data and present joint insights to the Product Director on requested topics.

• Undertake business trips to local markets to closely collaborate and assess performance and conditions on the ground in the designated area of responsibility.

Required Experience:

• Over 5 years of experience in product and/or marketing management, preferably in FMCG or the Tire Industry.
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing communications.

• Experience managing complex portfolios with multiple SKUs and sourcing.

• Project Management: Experience working in a fast-paced environment with diverse disciplines and individuals to ensure accountability for deliverables.

• Strong understanding of the new product development process.

• Experience in budget management and directing investments.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Storytelling: Ability to analyze large volumes of data, structure it effectively, identify gaps, propose solutions, and present findings in an understandable format for the target audience.
• Marketing perspective on product management.

• Stakeholder management with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences (executive leaders, peers, customers, etc.).

• Agility in prioritizing and executing tasks while managing ad-hoc responsibilities.

• Team player: Understanding the scope of responsibility in relation to the broader team and objectives.

• Quick learner and creative thinker: Ability to rapidly assimilate into topics, comprehend challenges, and drive solutions.
