About This Role


Fund Contribution team at FactSet is looking for a skilled Market Data Liaison Specialist to join our team. As a Liaison, you will be responsible for coordinating with global fund issuers and custodians in marketing, operations, fund administration, and technology to arrange centralized and consistent feed by making outbound phone calls.


Key Responsibilities



  • Liaising with global fund issuers, fund administrators, and custodians to align fund data and file format with FactSet's standard file format.
  • Working with external fund data providers to ensure correct format and content of incoming files.
  • Cataloguing content for all incoming files in FactSet database.
  • Maintaining the consistency and timeliness of deliveries to the Fund Contribution mailbox and/or FTP.
  • Handling and resolving internal and external client requests related to Fund Contribution.
  • Maintaining relationships with key players in Asset Management, Fund Administrators, and Stock Exchanges.

What You Will Learn



  • Executing stock exchange and market research to identify the scope of our prospects.
  • Presenting FactSet and FactSet products to clients and non-clients alike.
  • Navigating through FactSet fund processes and internal teams.
  • Building relationships with key players in Asset Management, Fund Administrators, and Stock Exchanges.
  • Understanding different investment vehicles, especially Mutual Funds and ETPs.
  • Handling technical set-ups and issues with direct conversations with Asset Management's and FactSet's IT Teams.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of new data types, including holdings, NAVs, shares outstanding, distributions, and metadata.
  • Research on regulators, InstMas, PortMas, TS Editor, Docs, shared inbox, and FTP server issues.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Background in Mutual Funds or Exchange Traded Products data.
  • Project Management skills.
