**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Control Tower Operation Specialist to join our team at GEODIS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their logistics activities globally, participating in customer discussions, and handling origin tariff and pricing issues.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist customers with origin logistics activities globally, including order, vendor, and transport management activities.
  • Participate in and support customer discussions to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Handle origin tariff and pricing issues to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Review and ensure the quality of all shipment reports, evaluating information sources for accuracy, reliability, and relevance.
  • Carry out weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support in preparing quarterly business reviews (QBR) with the Control Tower manager.
  • Assist the manager in organizing, reviewing, and preparing KPI reports.
  • Be flexible to assist other team members with related tasks as required.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of solid operational experience in a similar role within a Control Tower or in an operational position in sea freight.
  • Project management experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal) and good intercultural skills.
  • Being an experienced user of one or more IT systems used within the freight forwarding industry and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to manage and interpret high-volume data.
  • Being an accurate organizer with strong business acumen.
  • Customer-oriented, creative, and a representative team player.
  • Flexible in working hours and have a service-focused attitude, willing to solve issues outside regular working hours if needed.
