English Teacher in Shanghai for Part-time Kindergarten Position

This part-time kindergarten teacher position is available at a reputable K-12 IB school in Shanghai Jiading District. The job requires working closely with a Chinese teacher to ensure the smooth operation of daily routines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate program activities and assessments based on the provided curriculum.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that supports children's growth and development.
- Maintain close partnerships with parents, colleagues, and the community.
- Provide informal communications to parents regarding their child's progress and attainment.
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education preferred.
- Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years' full-time teaching experience.
- Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in planning and implementing the school's curriculum.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in teaching and professional development, be open-minded, patient, and have an adventurous spirit. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certificate are also preferred.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around 20,000 - 30,000 CNY per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
