About the Role

The Amazon (Shanghai) International Trading Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Manager to lead our dynamic team of content developers in the Asia Seller Education department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and optimization of content across multiple external and internal-facing education programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a content strategy to meet learner needs and business objectives, analyzing industry trends and adapting strategies to maximize engagement.
2. Manage a team of four content developers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure team cohesion and productivity.
3. Oversee the content development roadmap and ensure timely production of high-quality content, editing and approving content pieces to ensure alignment with standards.
4. Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies and identify areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate closely with product and program management, product marketing, sales, and account management teams to create cohesive and impactful content, ensuring alignment with knowledge about Selling on Amazon.
6. Stay updated with the latest content trends and technologies, proposing and implementing new ideas to drive innovation and growth.

About the Team

The Asia Seller Education team strives to provide world-class education programs to empower Sellers to start and grow their businesses on Amazon globally. We deliver high-quality education when and where Sellers need it, driving innovation to optimize the Seller experience over time. Our portfolio consists of global and local-initiated programs to fulfill Sellers' learning preferences with Self-service learning and Instructor-led training. Our team members come from multiple industries with diverse expertise, based in China, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and collaborate together toward one Seller Success vision for Asia-based Sellers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in content management or related roles, with 5+ years in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with direct oversight of content teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ability to analyze data and use analytics to drive content decisions, identify potential issues, and initiate solutions proactively.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of published content, a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of project outcomes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the cross-border e-commerce landscape, including regulatory, logistical, and cultural challenges of export e-commerce operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence others and manage relationships effectively.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth industry environment is highly desirable.
- Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of content trends and integrating innovative approaches into content creation.
