About the Role

The QOD team at SAP CSI CXS is a cross-regional team dedicated to cloud service provisioning, cloud platform operations, CI/CD, and DevOps for various SAP cloud products. We prioritize collaboration, diversity, innovation, and excellence.

SAP CALM (Cloud Application Lifecycle Management) is a critical service we support, spanning five data centers in different regions with over 6600 enterprise tenants. It includes 60+ microservices and daily feature releases by multiple development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and integrate SAP BTP services into SAP Cloud ALM to ensure seamless resource consumption.
  • Maintain and release Cloud ALM BTP service broker to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Monitor the reliability and performance of SAP Cloud ALM runtime cloud instances across multiple data centers, improving scalability and reducing downtime.
  • Partner with MoD to support services and co-lead the AppOps team in Budapest and India to ensure operations meet SLA requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within SAP Cloud ALM project teams, applying service reliability engineering principles.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud service integration/development, DevOps, or similar roles, working with cloud-based SaaS products and services.
  • Coding experience in Python, including advanced data processing, rate-limiting/buffering with restful API.
  • Knowledge of cloud application design principles and cloud application operations.
  • Technical understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry or Kyma (Kubernetes + Istio).
  • Proficiency in analyzing issues for cloud services using tools like Dynatrace, Kibana, or Grafana.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI services, including LLM infrastructure, RAG, fine-tuning, token management, and tenantization.
  • Experience with vector DB or MessageQueue is desirable.
  • Fluent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
