Job Title: Plant Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Plant Operations to establish standard product costing and provide timely insights on costing variances.
  • Drive Finance and Operations teams to comply with Assa Abloy Accounting policy and ERP utilization requirements.
  • Manage plant month-end closing process and prepare monthly operation performance reports, including variance analysis.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and financial reporting systems to provide timely and relevant plant financials.
  • Develop plant operating budget, quarterly financial planning estimates, and production plans.
  • Partner with Plant Manager to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and execute planned cost control actions.
  • Manage the deployment of cost-saving and other programs to improve operating performance and monitor opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adequate costing and accounting processes are in place, including standard cost updates, physical inventory verification, periodic cycle counts, CIP and FA physical count, and detection of risky control deficiencies.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team in vendor management to balance sourcing risk and opportunity.
  • Ensure plant quality policy and ERP program are thoroughly implemented in the finance function.
  • Evaluate plant capital requisition requests supported by in-depth analysis of expected productivity, operation efficiency, and savings. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure compliance for all significant capital investments.
  • Ensure adequate control to safeguard plant assets, documents, and financial records.
  • Manage plant finance staff and provide timely coaching and support for staff career development.
  • Provide full support to all Compliance investigations and Audits.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects as required, including appropriate ERP implementations and system upgrades.
  • Lead with a strong compliance and integrity mindset.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA/CMA preferred or equivalent local professional qualifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Familiar with IFRS GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills required to drive an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Mature operation skills of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
