Overview of the Position:

The General Ledger Accounting Supervisor collaborates with various stakeholders both internally and externally to oversee accounting functions, ensuring that financial records and both internal and external reports are accurate, dependable, timely, and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the accounting team to efficiently execute Month-End Closing and complete accounting tasks with a focus on quality.
  • Liaise with site controllers, HR managers, treasury, finance controllers, shared service centers, and auditors.
  • Guarantee the production of accurate and reliable financial statements in accordance with company reporting standards.
  • Assess data consistency across systems and reports, troubleshoot discrepancies, and identify root causes to prevent future issues.
  • Conduct internal controls and ensure compliance with CSOX on a monthly basis.
  • Develop quarterly cash flow forecasts and bi-weekly cash projections.
  • Collaborate with auditors to manage annual audits and tax submissions.
  • Oversee applications for government subsidies.
  • Engage in projects aimed at process enhancements.

Qualifications Required:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in financial accounting within multinational corporations, adhering to IFRS or PRC GAAP.
  • Experience in financial accounting within a manufacturing context, particularly in the semiconductor sector, is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, coupled with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with PRC tax regulations.
  • Experience in auditing or possession of accounting qualifications (CICPA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP, SAP ECC6, or S4 is preferred.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Enjoys working in a multicultural team and adapting to a dynamic business environment.
  • Demonstrates proactivity, enthusiasm, and ambition.
  • Maintains accuracy and organization in work.
