Job Description

About Your Role

To lead a team in managing financial and accounting functions, including inventory control, cost analysis, and financial reporting for a site with an annual sales of US$ 250 million. Responsible for profitability analysis and ensuring high accuracy of current costing and inventory evaluation processes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  1. Manage a team of supervisors, accountants, and assistant accountants to complete financial reporting tasks.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate data interfacing, reconciliation, and analysis of variances in manufacturing costs, material costs, and CM% against budget and forecast.
  3. Support the FP&A department and China Finance Director in constructing the annual operating plan and analyzing operating expenses budget collection.
  4. Contribute to monthly and quarterly forecasting, including projecting inventory balances and impacts on the balance sheet and income statement.
  5. Coordinate with a toll manufacturing facility in China to ensure proper cut-off, inventory controls, and timely reporting.
  6. Oversee and implement financial and internal controls, including SOX and internal financial policy requirements within the Costing/Inventory controls process.
  7. Complete any ad-hoc assignments instructed by the manager or director.

Qualifications

What We Will Be Looking For In You

A degree holder with a major in Accounting or Finance, or a Certified Public Accountant. Proficiency in Excel is required, and experience in analysis and management accounting is preferred. Good grasp of internal controls, Sarbanes Oxley exposure is an advantage. Knowledge of Peoplesoft/Hyperion/ERP system Oracle is preferred. Mature, self-motivated, independent, and a good team player with the ability to work overtime and under pressure with minimum supervision and keen to meet deadlines.

Education

College or Bachelor Degree, majoring in Accounting or Management, with a good understanding of financial and accounting principles and practices.
